Share your knowledge with active adults who are eager to learn.
The OLLI Program Committee is composed of OLLI members who have volunteered their time to establish a diverse and appealing course curriculum for OLLI members. The committee is always looking for new course ideas to expand the breadth of classes we can offer. Take a look at our Faculty Brochure to see more information about becoming an instructor. If you would like to join our faculty and teach a new course, please open the Course Proposal form below and immediately SAVE THE FORM as a document to your computer:
As you enter information into the form, continue to frequently save it to your computer so you don’t lose any information. Complete every field of the Course Proposal and save the form again, and then email the completed Course Proposal form to Beth Barber at email@example.com.
If you have any questions about the Course Proposal form or would like to discuss course ideas with the Program Coordinator, please contact Beth Barber at the OLLI office by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 434-923-3600 or 877-861-9207 (toll free).
Your proposal will be reviewed by the Program Committee, and a member of the committee will be in contact with you regarding the details of your proposed course. Please note that the course is not accepted into the curriculum until it has been approved by the Program Committee.
While we do not provide financial compensation to our instructors, instructors will be provided free membership and tuition at OLLI at UVa for two semesters – the semester in which the instructor teaches and the following semester. In addition, OLLI at UVa also provides free tuition to the instructor’s spouse/partner over that same time frame.
Thank you so much for your interest in OLLI at UVa, and we look forward to seeing your ideas for a proposed OLLI course!
